LaBlast is a partner-free fitness program based on all the ballroom dances seen on the hit show, 'Dancing with the Stars'.  Fusing fitness and dance into a positive, joyful, calorie blasting experience, LaBlast will get you into the best shape of your life while learning the true skill of dance.  No experience needed.  LaBlast was created for all ages and abilities from the absolute beginner to the trained dancer.  Join us and find out why participants call it, exercise in disguise!

 

Class Schedule

LaBlast Dance Fitness

Mondays:  9:30-10:30am

Easy to follow, fun, partner-free dance moves with a focus on fitness. All ages and abilities welcome. No experience needed and class is always beginner friendly.  Class is held in front of the Maybrook Mansion. 325 Penn Road, Wynnewood.

Classes are taught through Movement Rx Studio and are donation based. Proceeds benefit local charities.  Physical distancing strictly observed. Bring light weights (1-3 pounds, optional), water and a mat (optional)  Please arrive a few minutes early for your first class.  Questions?  Send me a message through the chat :)

Dancing in the Park

Tuesdays:  6-7pm

Easy to follow, fun, partner-free dance moves set to uplifting music.  The focus is on moving joyfully and letting go of stress and anxiety (at least for a little while)  No experience needed!  Wear sneakers, bring water and prepare to have a BLAST in beautiful, Linwood Park.  199 E. Athens Avenue, Ardmore, PA. 


Class is donation based and proceeds benefit the Friends of Linwood Park and local charities.  Physical distancing strictly observed.  Questions?  Send me a message through the chat :)

LaBlast Dance Fitness

All ages and abilities welcome.  No experience needed and class is always beginner friendly.  Classes are held on the turf field across from the Haverford Recreation Center, (CREC) Great for your feet and joints!  9000 Parkview Drive, Haverford.

about me

After watching season after season of 'Dancing with the Stars and wishing I could  learn to ballroom dance, I signed up for my first lesson and it was "love at first step!" I discovered LaBlast, a partner-free cardio dance workout based on all the dances from the TV show and knew I had found the perfect blend of dance and fitness.  I am fortunate to have trained with LaBlast’s creator and 3 time World Ballroom Champion, Louis van Amstel, and I've been having a (La)BLAST ever since. I look forward to welcoming you to this accessible, fun, exhilarating workout for people of all ages and fitness levels.  Join us to experience the joy of music and movement and find out why participants call LaBlast, exercise in disguise!
